​If one is paying any attention, they'll notice that moles feature not-infrequently throughout my body of work.

I've always loved nature. Although plants are interesting too, animals have been successfully capturing my interest all my life. The natural, non-human world that surrounds us is extraordinary. I've learned about a wide berth of creatures over the years, yet none have held my curiosity quite like moles have.

 

Ever since a young age I have held a fondness for the little creatures. They are odd, quirky, misunderstood little biological marvels. I admire their stubborn tenacity in the face of destructive human behavior and their dedication to looking like a particularly mobile fuzzy potato.
