Faux Space

This project's aim was to create an image which could convincingly be of something in space. One of the major constraints was that we were not allowed to use Photoshop to alter the photos in any way. All editing must be done in Bridge's "Camera Raw", so what could be done was constrained to what it could do and what we could think to do.

I had a heck of a time making something that was at all convincing while also being a high-quality photo. The quality of the photo mattered a lot, because our work was to be featured in an exhibition at the University of Toledo's Planetarium. The first image of the work above was included in that exhibition.
