Toledo CellulART Branding
First Independent Design Work
Toledo CellulART, a conference blending microscopy and art was in need of a brand designer for 2025, and I was their designer!
Process
In April of 2025 I was approached by Professor Barry Whittaker about making the brand design for the 2025 CellulART conference.
For this project, I created the brand collateral for the 2025 conference on behalf of Rafael Garcia-Mata, a faculty researcher at UT. The focus of Mata's work, and the topic of discussion at CellulART, related to digital microscopy and the intersection of cellular imaging and artwork.
CellulART as a conference had been taking place at the Center for Visual Arts for several years. In recent time, they have started collaborating with art students to design the branding. I am the second student in this new collaborative process.
Final Product
For the project, I was tasked with making the logo, a matching date + location infographic, a banner for the website, a template for invitations/hand-outs, and a design that would go on the front and back of t-shirts that were made in collaboration with JUPMODE.
